Our great- grandfather Ali Rıza Karagözoğlu’s journey, which began with a simple press in Zeytinli, continued with the Karagözoğlu Olive Oil Factory, which was established in Edremit in 1925, producing with the most advanced technology of its time.

In this journey, he gained a well-deserved reputation both domestically & internationally with the brand KAR, consisting of the initials of his name, as one of the most important and recognized olive oil brand of its time in Edremit region, where olive oil quality is world-famous. Ali Rıza Karagözoğlu, who was passionate about olives, passed away in 1960 beneath an olive tree he dearly loved.

Today, as the 4th generation of Karagözoğlu family, we carefully and meticulously process the olive harvest from our own trees in Edremit Bay. Thanks to the same passion with new technology, we handle each step in our own factory with storing capabilities.
